Walk About

The Time Machine
2011-12-20 13:50:54
The mystery and speculation of the area we are in Teotihuacan is intense. No one knows who built these massive structures that align with the stars and constellations in the sky. When the Aztecs found it they called it the place of the Gods, but even they had no idea who or what built them. Thom and I have been sucked in here, we have been shown the many meanings and interpretations of various structures and sacred sites. Their is great power here and a feeling like you are being broadcast a message from a large radio antennae, I have to say the message is beautiful :)
Buffalo Speaks
2011-12-03 12:37:05
Thom: I had a long talk with the Buffalo this morning at the Zoologico de Chapultepec. It's very sad how disconnected humans have become from a harmonic way of being with Nature. The Buffalo said he had been calling me to him. He looked me square in the eyes. I was sad because he was sad. He showed me why his life had purpose before. Because the way of the hunt was part of the excitement of being on this planet and he and his kind were happy to offer their body for Mankind. Now that way is gone, and he can only stand and remember. I asked him why...Read More Here
Mexico City
2011-12-02 08:57:54
Chris: So we arrived in Mexico City two days ago. What a crazy place it is. We have seen a punch up on the subway, a man begging for money with his liver or bowel or some body part hanging off him in a bag. Pulled over by mexican police and threatened with repercussions of the Oaxaca mafia if we didn't give them 100 pesos. I actually love it here... not to live but I love the action and intensity, the diversity and evidence of life doing everything it can to survive and prosper. We also went to a Mescal bar the other night I would tell you about it.. but I don't remember much :) Look out for the MC episode!!!!
A Meeting
2011-11-27 21:13:22
Thom: Last night I had a dream that two shape-shifting whales came to visit me. At first my attention was caught by dolphins playing in the surf, then, as they jumped at quicker and quicker speeds I saw the massive form of the whale approaching. The speed and the size of her as she neared the beach was staggering. And when she came onto the beach she continued to move to my amazement up the beach into a large rock overhang and then moved quickly through the rock overhang until she wrapped around out of sight, but I could tell she was underneath the house I was staying in. Tepic
2011-11-23 16:27:21
Chris: Just arrived in Tepic Nayarit. I decided to google it, to see what has been happening here. Beheadings, people being skinned alive with their hearts removed, shootouts on the streets just a few of the first links to pop up on google for Tepic. I have to say though it feels nothing like that here. Looking out my window there is a gathering of people dancing in the square and we just ate at possibly one of the best vegetarian restaurants (Quetzalcoatl) I have ever been to.
Information Overload
2011-11-22 10:11:50
Chris: I have been feeling a little overloaded with information in the past couple of days. The project is incredible in that it is inspiring to here about what makes so many people have hope in the future for human consciousness. However I have realised that it is making me question my own beliefs and ideas. This is great in one way but has also left me feeling a little lost at times. Interesting that when you start listening to everything it makes it hard to hear anything at times.

Thom and I are going to be using this section as a journal. We will be writing about what is happening and the experiences we are having whilst travelling. I am not a trained writer so excuse my poor granmar.
